Manuel Garcia was born 1 March 1970 in Arica, Región de Arica y Parinacota he is a singer, poet and guitarist Chilean, associated with the sounds of the new Chilean song, but also has dabbled in rock. Founder of the Popular Mechanics band and voice of the Victor Jara Symphonic Project. Manuel was called by the specialized press as the commander of folk Chilean 2 and is currently one of the most prized chilean musicians, applauded and with more projection.

He studied pedagogy in history and geography at the Universidad de Tarapacá, and arrived to Santiago in 1994 to study superior guitar performance at the Pontificie Universidad Catolica de Chile with Luis Orlandini. His professional musical career began in 1995, as a participant of the band Mario Rojas, and as founder of the band Korah, which leaves in 1998 to dedicate to his new Popular Mechanics band, which mixes the Trova with Rock music.

Manuel Garcia has a personal characteristic that I like ver much. As an artist brings the history as much related to the country as everyday to his songs and make me travel to a different world full of memories, happiness, sandess, sorrow, etc.

My favorite songs is ink of your tears interpreted by Manuel and his author is Francis Brel, mainly because of his story and melody that is very moving, I will put the video with the song.
